Welcome!

Hi, my name is Catrina.  I am the mother of two behind the recipes of Planted Families, and planted. My husband and I have been eating a mostly plant-based diet for over 10 years, and made the choice early on to raise our children the same.  I decided to share my ideas on cooking healthfully for children when I realized that my kids actually don't mind veggies...on the contrary, THEY LOVE THEM!  If you are creative in the preparation, and especially if you disguise plants as the addicting junk-food that they have already come to love, I promise that you can convince even the pickiest of eaters that plants are yummy.  All my recipes are created or modified by me, and tested (and approved) by my now 8 year old daughter and my 6 year old son.  Hope you enjoy and happy eating!
